Welcome to the "Building Telemetry Pipelines with Grafana Alloy" workshop.

Let's make sure you're all set up.

Firstly, choose your color mode​

Prefer reading in light mode, or dark mode? You can pick either.

What you'll need​

For this workshop, you'll need to bring:

  • An up-to-date web browser, with JavaScript enabled.
  • Some water, so you can stay hydrated!

The workshop facilitator will provide you with the following:

  • A personal logon (username and password)
  • A URL to a Grafana Cloud instance - e.g. https://nnnnnn.grafana.net

Your logon has been sent to the email address you provided when you signed up. If you haven't received the email, please check your Spam or Junk Mail folder. Or, speak to your facilitator.

What's covered​

In this workshop, you'll get hands-on with Grafana Alloy, learning how to:

  • Understand Alloy components and configuration language
  • Configure pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and profiles
  • Collect, process, and export telemetry data to Grafana Cloud
  • Troubleshoot pipelines using the Alloy UI
  • Visualize collected data with dashboards and Drilldown
